Current Prayer Needs

Children:

• Pray that these children may hear and understand the depth of God’s Love through Bible instruction and LUO’s programs and that they would each have a personal, life-changing relationship with Christ and with other believers

 
Leaders and Volunteers:

• Pray for a young adult male to join us as a bible teacher and mentor for our new youth group.  
• Pray for God's protection and blessings upon the ministry’s leaders and volunteers.

 
Families:

• Pray continually for the hearts and salvation of the children's family members.

Alaska Mission Trip

• Pray for God’s direction and leadership in the planning of a possible future short-term mission trips

Material

• ​New! Over 40 children are still waiting for a financial assistance with their educational needs. An Academic Scholarship for a child will fully cover his/her school uniform (including Scout and P.E. uniforms, shoes, socks), tuition fees for high school students, notebooks, writing pads, pens/pencils, backpack bags and school's lunch money. 
• Answered Prayer! ​Replacement Ministry Vehicle: The vehicle in photo has served the outreach's needs for the last 4 years and it reached the point where it no longer cost-effective to repair and maintain.  The ideal replacement is a small 4WD pick-up truck that is able to transport supplies off road to the project site.  - Praise God, He answered this prayer! The Lord has provided for a replacement vehicle in late 2016! ​

• New!  Pray for separate sanitary stations for boys and girls.
• New!  Pray for plan to build outhouses in some of children's homes
  
• New!  Pray for plan to assist parents with their Livelihood efforts
  
• ​ Answered Prayer! 2nd small shelter for group breakout sessions - Praise God, this prayer has been answered! The newly built multi-purpose building has a Youth Function Area in the 2nd floor that also serves as a group breakout room/additional classroom.
•  ​Answered Prayer! Cabin to serve as mission house - Praise God for the multi-purpose building which also includes 2 Sleeping Quarters (2nd floor) to accommodate visiting missionaries.  Thank You, oh Lord for Your amazing provision!​ ​

Faith

Pray that the new children attending LUO may come to believe that there is a God who loves them.

Hope

​Pray that these new attendees may know that there is a good future awaiting for them.

Love

As these children receive love through LUO, pray that we see transformed lives to the glory of the Almighty God.
